For controlled descent rescue that is easily operated and quick to engage, the 3M™ DBI-SALA® Rollgliss™ R550 is the rescue device you have been looking for. Designed by the safety experts at 3M™ DBI-SALA®, the Rollgliss™ R550 provides the lightest, most compact and easy-to-use design on the market.
The Rollgliss™ R550 uses a 3/8” super static kernmantle rope connected to a bi-directional hub for operation in both directions. When rescuing a worker, the Rollgliss™ raises the fallen worker to a point that allows their fall protection to be removed, and then lowers them to the ground safely. This one unit is capable of emergency escape, assited rescue, pick-off rescue, and custom situation rescue scenarios, such as angled descent.
